This liturgical hymn is particularly unbearable to the demon who provokes headaches, fatigue (without reason) and who causes drowsiness during prayer. It is likewise unbearable to the demon who makes one nervous, excites anger and stirs up disputes. Neither do the spirits invoked in malefices tolerate it.

- PRAYER TO THE QUEEN OF ANGELS
Dictated by the Virgin herself in order to combat and overthrow the powers of hell, this prayer has been recommended by several popes and enriched with indulgences by Saint Pius X. It is effective for protecting oneself from the powers of hatred and fear at the moment of their attacks, and also from the spirits of darkness, that is to say of illusion and of falsehood.
August Queen of Heaven and Mistress of the Angels, you who have received from God the power and the mission to crush the head of Satan, we humbly ask you: send your heavenly legions so that, under your orders and by your power, they may pursue the demons, combat them everywhere, repress their audacity and drive them back into the abyss. “Who is like God?”
O good and tender Mother, you will always be our love and our hope. O divine Mother, send the Holy Angels to defend me and to drive far from me the cruel enemy.
Holy Angels and Archangels, defend us, keep us!
- CONSECRATION TO THE MOST HOLY VIRGIN

I choose you this day, O Mary, in the presence of the whole heavenly court, for my Mother and my Queen. I deliver and consecrate to you in all submission and love: my body, my soul, my interior and exterior goods, and even the value of my good actions past, present and future, leaving you an entire and full right to dispose of me and of all that belongs to me, without exception, according to your good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in time and in eternity. Amen.
- PRAYER TO OUR GUARDIAN ANGEL
Holy Angel who are my guardian, my tutor and my master, my guide and my defence, my most wise counsellor and my most faithful friend, it is to you that the goodness of the Lord has recommended me from the day of my birth until the last hour of my life. What respect I owe you, when I know that you are always and everywhere at my side!
With what gratitude must I not thank you for the love that you have for me, what unlimited confidence to know that you are my help and my defender! Holy Angel, teach me, correct me, keep me and lead me on the right and sure path of the holy City of God. Do not permit that I do anything that offends your holiness and your purity. Present my desires to the Lord, offer Him my prayers, show Him my miseries and make me know of His infinite goodness, by the maternal intercession of your Queen, Most Holy Mary, how to heal myself.
Watch when I rest, sustain me when I am weary, support me when I am about to fall. Raise me up when I have fallen, show me the road when I am lost, give me courage when I go astray, enlighten me when I see nothing, defend me when I am attacked. And particularly on the last day of my life, be for me a shield against the demon. Through your defence and your guidance, obtain for me to enter at last into your radiant dwelling, where for eternity I may express to you my gratitude and glorify with you the Lord God and the Virgin Mary, my Sovereign and yours. Amen.
Angel of God, who are my guardian, you to whom the divine Goodness has entrusted me, this day (or this night) enlighten me, protect me, direct me and govern me! Amen.
- PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
Composed by Pope Leo XIII, this prayer is unbearable to the chief of the demons, he who sows hatred, inspires wars, takes interest in natural catastrophes and world conflagrations. Neither do the impure spirits who settle on the nape of the neck, the shoulders, the throat and the thorax tolerate it.
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God restrain him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
- PRAYER TO SAINT JOSEPH, TERROR OF DEMONS
This prayer is recommended for all kinds of illnesses. But also to drive away the demon of impurity and of temptations against chastity. Many other evil spirits do not tolerate it, notably those who settle on the spinal column (from the cervicals to the lumbar region); and again the one who provokes discord in couples.
We have recourse to you in our tribulation, O Blessed Joseph, and after having implored the help of your most holy Spouse, we also solicit with confidence your patronage. By the affection which united you to the Immaculate Virgin, Mother of God, by the paternal love with which you surrounded the Child Jesus, we beseech you to look with kindness upon the inheritance which Jesus Christ has acquired at the price of His Blood, and to assist us in our needs. Protect, O most wise guardian of the divine Family, the chosen race of Jesus Christ. Preserve us, O most loving Father, from every stain of error and of corruption; be favourable to us, O our most powerful liberator. From on high protect us in the combat which we wage against the power of darkness. And as you once snatched the Child Jesus from the danger of death, so now defend the holy Church of God from the snares of the enemy and from every adversity. Cover each of us with your perpetual protection, so that, following your example and supported by your help, we may live holily, die piously, and attain to eternal beatitude. Amen.

Our Father who art in heaven,
You are my refuge and the rock of my salvation.
Nothing of what happens to me escapes You.
I am Your servant [Your handmaid] and I bear Your Name.
I thank You for having given me the helmet of salvation.
It is in Your Son Jesus that I am what I am.
Nothing will ever be able to separate me from Your love.
I thank You for forgiving my sins and for blotting out my fault.
I now put on Your breastplate of justice.
May the Holy Spirit scrutinise and bring to light every strategy of darkness directed against me.
I take up the shield of Faith, to stand firm in the Word of God which tells me:
“For this purpose the Son of God appeared, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 Jn 3:8)
Therefore, Holy Father, in the glorious Name of Your First-born Son Jesus Christ, and by the authority that comes to me from my baptism,
I RENOUNCE Satan, his seductions and his works, whatever their origin: occultism, spiritism or witchcraft,
and, with the Faith that You, O Father, have given me, I proclaim: that all that he has done in my life be overthrown.
Jesus, You are my Lord and my Saviour.
You triumphed over him in the desert, on the Cross and in the tomb, and You have conquered him for ever by Your glorious Resurrection, thus sealing his end and his destiny.
In You, I also triumph over him by the power of Your holy Name, before which:
“Every knee shall bow, of those that are in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.” (Phil 2:10)
Therefore, Lord, by the power of Your Name, I resist all the efforts of the demon to overwhelm me, torment me or deceive me, and I oppose with the utmost energy his attempt to rob me of the joy and the fruit of my salvation.
By the power of Your most Precious Blood shed for me on Calvary, I ask You to drive far from me all the powers of darkness that attack and assail me, and to command them to depart immediately wherever You will, Lord, so that they may never return.

- TO OBTAIN LIBERATION THROUGH TRUST IN GOD

Lord Jesus, You have promised to grant every grace to him who prays in Your Name when You said: “Amen, amen, I say to you: if you ask the Father anything in My Name, He will give it to you.” (Jn 16:23)
Lord Jesus, I believe in Your divine Word and in Your promises, but increase my faith (Lk 17:5), O Lord! In Your Name I ask You for the grace of deliverance for [myself, for N.], and for all I ask the grace of peace, of love, of union and of serenity in the family, at work, in society and in our Church.
Lord Jesus, free me from every evil human will, from every diabolical action, from every spell or malefice, from every exterior or interior action or influence of the demon, Your enemy and mine, origin of every evil!
Lord Jesus, drive him away; You can do it by a single act of Your will. For “nothing is impossible to God”! (Lk 1:37) Free me by the Mysteries of Your Nativity, of Your Passion, of Your Death and of Your Resurrection: by Your most Precious Blood which is offered every day upon our altars.
Free me by the strength of the Blood that flows from Your right hand, pierced on the Cross. Free me by the strength of the Blood that flows from Your left hand. Free me by the power of the Blood that flows from Your side pierced by the soldier’s lance. Free me by the Blood that descends from Your pierced feet.

He has conquered, the Lion of the tribe of Juda,

The power of Christ is stronger than all the diabolical powers! It is He who is victorious over them. It is He who condemns them, chastises them, curses them, annihilates them and destroys them. I do not belong to Satan. I do not want him. I detest him with all his works, all his seductions: the world and sin, I refuse them!
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and of earth; I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, my Saviour… I am of Christ, I want Christ, with His Church and His Holy Spirit. I love Christ, I confide myself to Him.
Love of Christ, put to flight the infernal powers, the demons, the damned souls and all those who commit iniquity!
Immaculate Mary, Virgin of Sorrows, Our Lady of the Assumption, Mother of God and my Mother, my confidence, my hope: help me! Free me and crush the head of the old serpent! To you and to the Heart of your Jesus I confide my cause. Turn your gaze upon me and do what your Heart will tell you: I count on you, I trust in you, I abandon myself to you, I leave it to your Heart, I am sure of you. Thank you Jesus! Thank you Mary!

- PRAYER TO JESUS TO BE LIBERATED

Jesus, my most sweet Saviour, here I am before You like those poor people tormented by the demon whom You met on the roads of Palestine.
I admire Your goodness and Your delicacy towards me. I also admire Your divine power. You threatened the impure spirits and drove them out of men to whom You restored hearing, sight, speech, and above all Your peace and Your grace. O my Jesus, I also feel myself cast down and oppressed by the wiles of the devil who troubles me in daily life or during the night, who prevents me from fulfilling my duty of state, and still more tries to draw me away from You by the abandonment of religious practice and of the Christian faith.
I believe in You, Jesus! You are the Son of our heavenly Father, begotten and consubstantial with Him. With the Father and the Holy Spirit, You are the one true God, almighty and merciful, who live and reign for ever and ever. To free us from the slavery of sin and from the tyranny of the Demon, You put on our human nature, preached the Gospel of salvation, accepted from the will of the Father the Passion and Death. Your adorable Blood You shed in order to restore to us our divine filiation and to incorporate us into Yourself as brothers.

- O GOD CREATOR AND DEFENDER OF THE HUMAN RACE
O God, Creator and Defender of the human race, You who created man to Your image and likeness, look upon Your servant N. attacked by the malice of the impure spirits, troubled, shaken, frightened by the assaults of the ancient Adversary, the old enemy of the earth.
Drive away, Lord, his assailants, uncover their snares, chase away the tempter. Mark Your servant with Your Name, that it may defend him in his soul and in his body. Guard his breast, his entrails and his heart. Dispel all attempts of the Adversary to enter into him.
Grant us, O Lord, the grace that at the invocation of Your most holy Name, he who until now terrorised may flee away terrified and conquered, and that Your servant may with a firm heart and a sincere spirit serve You in the best dispositions. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
- O SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST
This beautiful prayer is particularly recommended in cases of cancer, of leukaemia and of risk of miscarriage.
O Saviour Jesus Christ, my Lord and my God, my God and my all, You who have redeemed us by the sacrifice of the Cross, and who have destroyed the power of Satan, I beseech You to deign to free us from every evil presence and from every influence of the Evil One. I ask it of You by Your holy Name, I ask it of You by Your Wounds, I ask it of You by Your Blood, I ask it of You by Your Cross, I ask it of You finally by the intercession of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Grant that the Blood and the water which flowed from Your Sacred Heart may cover us entirely to purify us, deliver us and heal us. Amen.
- PRAYER AGAINST ALL DIABOLICAL EVILS
Aiming as widely as possible, this prayer may be said on all occasions.
May the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the entire Holy Trinity, descend upon us [or upon etc.]. May the Immaculate Virgin, the seven Archangels who stand in the presence of God and all the heavenly choirs, the saints and the holy ones of Paradise, bend over us. Invest us, Lord, transform us, fill us with Yourself, make use of us.
Drive far from us all the forces of evil, annihilate them, destroy them, so that we may be in good health and do good. Drive far from us: the malefices, the witchcrafts, black magic, black masses, the bad spells, the bonds, the maledictions, the evil eye, diabolical infestation, diabolical possession, diabolical obsession, everything that is evil, sin, envy, jealousy, perfidy: physical, psychic, moral, spiritual and diabolical illness. Burn all these evils in hell so that they may no longer overwhelm us, nor any creature in the world.
In the Name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin and with the strength of almighty God, I order and command all the impure spirits to leave us immediately, to quit us definitively, and to go into eternal hell, chained by Saint Michael the Archangel, Saint Gabriel the Archangel, Saint Raphael the Archangel and by our guardian Angels, crushed under the heel of the most holy and immaculate Virgin Mary.
- DELIVER ME FROM EVIL
It has been observed that many illnesses have improved through the recitation of this prayer, particularly in cases of gastric ulcer, of diabetes and of overweight.
Lord Jesus, if harm has been done to my soul, to my body, to my work or to my family, may Your Power, Your Mercy and Your Kindness permit that from this moment I may recover the fullness of grace, all my health, as well as a full and entire union with the Will of the most Holy Trinity. I ask it of You by Your infinite merits, by Your Precious Blood shed upon the Cross, by the Sorrows of the Virgin Mary, and by the intercession of the Patriarch Saint Joseph, to the glory of the most Holy Trinity. Amen.
- PRAYER AGAINST THE EVIL EYE, or also AGAINST A BAD SPELL DUE TO JEALOUSY
The ravages of jealousy are comparable to those provoked by magic. When one knows what power jealousy gives to the impure spirits, one will do everything to defend oneself against it and to repel from oneself every temptation of envy.
O Father, our God, King of the ages, Almighty who govern the universe, You whose sun rises upon the wicked as upon the good and who make it rain upon the just as upon the unjust, You who at Babylon changed into dew the furnace heated seven times, You who protected and saved Your three valiant saints, You the Physician who heal and cure our souls, You who are the security of those who believe in You, we ask You to turn aside, to break and to drive far from Your servant N. every perfidious action, every aggression of Satan, every evil intrigue and every perverse attempt, as well as every damage or wrong due to the envious eyes of the wicked who cause evil.
If something of this kind has happened to our friend, if his beauty, his courage, his happiness [or whatever else] has been the object of jealousy or of envy – whether this evil has been provoked by some writing or again by the attack of the evil eye – You, Lord, friend of men, stretch out Your hand towards him, and deliver him from every evil by Our Lord Jesus Christ Your Son. Amen.
